There are two components that go into creating a Website (or Web ad). The Design and the Development. The design is the visual representation of what a Website will look like. You can think of this like a flat image that looks like a Website, but does not have any functionality like a Website. Once a design is created, then a Website can be Developed. The development is the “coding” of the Website. This is where the Website actually takes form and becomes a Website.

- Determine the objective of the Website
- Determine the audience of the Website
- Determine requirements (functionality) of the Website
- Create wireframes to outline the Website flow and functionality
- Develop a design (look and feel) for the Website
- Develop the code (the actual Website)
- Test the Website
- Launch the Website
